I was just wondering what people's fave seasons were. I really like season 3 of buffy, don't know why :) and season 1 of Angel because, even though there is no Fred or Lorne (sad), you still get Doyle and Cordelia and Wesley and Gunn :). My least favourite season of buffy would probably be 7 because Spike got a soul which made him too angel-like in my opinion and everybody kept dying, and my least favourite season of Angel would probably be 4 because of the whole Cordy/Connor thing which was just not good. I love both shows to bits though!!! If anyone would like to say their favourite/least favourite seasons with reasons that would be great! Yours sincerly, a teenage Buffy fan :) xxxxx

I was a huge fan of buffy and angel as a teenaget and I loved all the seasons but I agree with u on everything u said. Spike with soul was fun and the whole conor thing was boring and angel being a sad father was really the most boring because I love the romantic angel better:)

I am in my tweenties now and I still love it abd don't think any supernatural serious can compared to it.:)

Best Buffy Season 5, I love the family angle, Glory, Willow/Tara, Xander/Anya and even Giles and Spike got their turn it the spotlight.

Worst: Season 4 was to scattered and the whole military plot didn't work out so well to me.

Angel best Season: 3 or 5. Season 3 starts of really strong, the Fred and Cordelia story-lines were good, then you have Darla (favorite Angel villain) turning into a hero, Angel tries to kill Wesley. The ending kind of slowed down though after Connor grew up.

Season 5 started out week but the last half was absolutely amazing, starting with "Your Welcome" and pretty much every episode after it had something to love.

Worst Angel Season 4, Cordy/Connor, pretty much everything the good and bad characters or TPB did is now a big master plan (also implying so was Buffy Seasons 1-3), was just weak writing.

Buffy best: Season 2, It was actually a vampire show unlike the seasons that came after it minus seasons 3 & 7.

Buffy worst: Season 6, I didn't like anything about it and the end felt like Charmed, and other than the hot girls there's no way I'm watching Charmed.

Angel best: Season 2, The characters' roles were perfect. Even though I did like Wesley later on, he wasn't bad here. This was before Cordy started riding Angel's coat-tail and turned into a mom-like figure to the rest of the crew. How in the heck did she go from resenting Angel for trapping those people in the cellar with Darla & Dru, to "kill him(Holtz)...I don't care, he took Connor's childhood". So, Angel killed Holtz's whole family. Oh and when she said "Angel's feelings are the only one's I care about", she abandoned Wesley as if he turned on them, even tough Angel was going nuts over his son's blood and shouting at him. Angel became cold, selfish and literally ditched them in season 2, but she ends up loving him and treating him more like a hero. After season 2, Gunn no longer had a role until the 5th season. After all I just said, season 3 still managed to be my second favorite.

Angel worst: Season 1, I just didn't like it as much as the others.

My Favorite seasons of Buffy has to be Seasons 3 and 5. Season 3 because it was senior year and Buffy and Gang not only had to deal with Graduating from High School but into young adulthood at the same time. It introduced us to Faith and the Mayor, who was one of the funniest and scariest nemesis, until Glory showed up of course. Plus we saw the fight between the Slayers which had been building since Faith showed up.

Season 5 was another fave because let's face it Glory was the best Villain, that Buffy had to face in the entire run of the show. Who can forget the beating Buffy took from her and when she simply knew she couldn't beat her and simply said , run! It was awesome and it was a better ending than the one we got when the show was renewed on another network. It was a better ending in my opinion. Sure in season 7 when the show ended it's run on the UPN, we also had to lose a few people. the hardest for me was Anya.

The worst season for me would have to the last and final 7th season. Although i liked how they returned to the notion of the First who tormented Angel about his killings from the past as well as him killing Jenny, it got bogged down with multiple slayers and too many side plots. Sure it was great that Angel came back to help but I wasn't a bigh Spike/Buffy fan so it's why it's my least favorite season.

My favorite season of Angel had to be the 1st and 4th and final season.

The first season was awesome because there were a few Buffy cross overs and we had the addition of former Buffy cast members with Cordy and Wesley plus new characters, like Gunn and Fred. I wasn't a big fan of the Connor pregancy Cordy is evil story.

The last season was kicked up a notch and although we say Goodbye to cordy wesley and fred, the ending was awesome. My favorite line was when Angel says I've always wanted to slay a dragon.

The best season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Either season 2, season 4 or season 5.

The worst season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: DEFINITELY, BY FAR season 7. It was just awful.

The best season of Angel: by far, season 2. It was perfect. I loved so much about season 2. It was so much better than all of the other seasons.

The worst season of Angel: season 3 BY FAR. It was as awful as Buffy season 7.

Personally I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer is WAYYYYYY better than Angel. I used to love Buffy, but Angel is a pretty sucky show, except for season 2, which was awesome.

It is interesting that you like the two seasons: Buffy 3 and Angel 1, that I own.

Buffy was very depressing in many ways.

Angel was gimmick filled.

But, I own Season 3 of Buffy.

Season 3 of Buffy brought Eliza Dushku on to the show as Faith, and she added a lot.

Additionally, during Season 3 is an episode called "the Prom", which takes a depressing show and gives it a great storybook ending, the like many hollywood movies. By far "The Prom" is my favorite Buffy episode. But I watch "Bad Girls", "Faith Hope and Trick" and other Season 3 stories that involve Faith.

Season 1 of Angel Eliza Dushku shows up as Faith in "Five By Five" and "Sanctuary".

Five By Five was a big standout compared to the rest of the Angel episodes. Therefore, I bought Angel season 1 (and no other) because I wanted to see that episode.

I rank "Five By Five" as the most powerful television episode of any show, ever! Jim Kouf wrote a very dramatic story that ranks with the best movies ever. Eliza Dushku gave her best performance in that episode. She has never been able to duplicate anything close to it, despite getting the starring role in two TV series (Tru Calling and Dollhouse).

Despite the fact that I don't think much of the rest of the Angel episodes, I still get a kick out of the line in the first Angel episode "Can you fly?"
