I've been saying that (that the show is underrated) since the first season, and it's really sad because I think it's the best show on television. I think it's definitely better than any of the CSI shows.

CSI is more about the forensics of crime...fingerprints, DNA, etc. Criminal Minds is just what the title promises, which makes it infinitely more interesting to me. Not to mention the writing is fantastic, and the cast is too. I used to love CSI, until I realized I was basically watching the same show over and over...and it was full of sound bites and cliche`s. I still enjoy it now and then, but pretty much just Miami, and only occasionally. Criminal Minds is something that keeps my interest, much more so than any other show.

CSI stands for crime scene investigators. They investigate crimes.

Now as for Criminal Minds, They are criminal profilers

So as one show investigates the crime the other profiles the criminal.

Both great shows

Add.. I love both shows just like CM better even though they get a creepy.

The last show with the pig farmer nasty.

Criminal Minds is way too over the top psychologically for me. They have the worst of the worst criminals.
