Does anyone know how Jack Bauer's (on 24) wife, Terry died at the end of Season 1?

I have seen the entire season on DVD but don't remember it actually showing. I remember his wife and daughter being rescued at the end of season 1 but at the beginning of season 2 he is accusing Nina to be the reason his wife is dead. Did I miss an episode?

Nina killed Teri at the end of the final episode of season 1....

Jack had just rescued Kim again, Teri went to ask Nina a question and heard her speaking German, she initially was just going to tye her up, but when she realized Teri heard her speaking German, she knew that her other cover could be blown....So she shot her. At the end, Jack finds her slumped over in a chair with a bullet in her stomach or heart I think, anyway, she is dead and Jack is holding her, and crying apologizing to her lifeless body!!!!

He didn't rescue his wife in the end of season 1. She was shot by Nina Myers. In an alternate ending on the DVD he did end up rescuing her.

The actual shooting was off screen in the final episode of season 1, but Nina did shoot Teri because she thought Teri could link her to Germany.
