I absolutely love BBC1 and all their shows especially their adaptations of beautiful stories such as Little Dorrit and Jane Eyre. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations of series like those?

Yes I've watched those two and loved them both (I like Jane Eyre more). You can try Wives & Daughters, but I don't think it's by BBC. It has four episodes, if you have a Netflix account you can watch it for free there, if not you can watch it in youtube. If you are a Jane Austen fan like me, you'll probably like Persuasion(2007) that was done by BBC, Youtube has that too. You can also try Daniel Deronda (2002), which is also done by BBC, Hugh Dancy acts in it. It's about four hours long. You can watch it for free in Netflix or in youtube. I know when you look at the trailers for Wives & Daughters and Daniel Deronda, it might not look interesting but they both got good story.
