If I like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead will I like Mad Men?

I thought Breaking Bad was one of the best TV dramas I've ever seen in my life. The Walking Dead was alright, I thought season 2 and the Pilot episode were the best though. So is Mad Men any good? I don't get the appeal, from what I hear it just sounds like a soap opera with how many women Don Draper can sleep with. Thoughts?

I love both Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Personally I don't care for Walking Dead because I don't like shows that deals with things like zombies. But Mad Men is very different from Breaking Bad. But they both have the same quality of acting. I would say that Mad Men has a little bit more humor than Breaking Bad and Breaking Bad has more heart pounding moments.



Mad Men is a slower paced show than Breaking Bad. You need to know the characters in order to fully enjoy the show. There are plot twits, shocking moments, and a lot of romance.



Basically if you love the era of the 1960s you will love this show. Mad Men is the most historically accurate depiction of the 60s I have ever seen.



I say give it a try. Watch the first season before you make a decision on the show. It is definitely one of the best shows on television. (And don't judge the show on the scenes with Betty).

If you enjoyed Breaking Bad and the first two seasons of The Walking Dead because of their fast pace, then Mad Men probably isn't for you. I personally love all three shows, but Mad Men is a lot slower paced and conceptual than action packed.

Man Men is about an ad agency in the 60's. Personally I haven't been able to get into eithe it or Breaking Bad. I only watch The Walking Dead.

They are all three good shows but it isn't necessary that because you like one you will also like the other. Mad Men is a great show but again, just because it is on AMC it doesn't mean you will like it. Watch and find out for yourself.

i dont get the appeal of mad men either... watch hell on wheels thats the third best show on AMC... behind TWD and BB
