So since William Petersen is leaving CSI Las Vegas, How do you think it will survive?

That makes me so mad that their won't be a Gil Grissom anymore. I wonder how their going to kill him off.. if they do...

I am screaming my lungs out. How can William Petersen leave CSI? It can't be true! CSI Won't be the same anymore without him. Warrick and Sara have left so that leaves only Cath and Nick as the original group. Whoever has to fill the void left by warrick, Sara and Grissom will have loads to live up to.

William Petersen isn't leaving CSI until mid-season and he'll still be on the show as executive producer and have a re-occuring role on the show. He's just not going to be full time on the show anymore. He just wants the time to be able to take on other projects and roles right now.



As for who's going to replace him as the leader of the CSI squad....I'm not sure. I'm hearing talk on myspace and other sites that have everyone from Burt Reynolds to Mark-Paul Gosslear(sp?) and everyone in between are in auditions to become part of the cast of CSI.

I don't see the show continuing very long without him. Petersen needs a break - I don't blame him for leaving, but I'll miss him! The poor guy has had bad knees all his life. It must be brutal filming 16-hour-days.
