does anyone know why supernatural hasn't been on for the past couple of weeks?

It's not been on because the CW is trying to use that timeslot to boost the ratings of "Reaper". This might have even happened without the writers' strike.

I would prefer to be in the place of Supernatural, which is getting another season but missing some repeats than in the place of Reaper, which is being shown now but might not get another season if its audience doesn't pick up.
