Question

what do you think are the saddest moments n little house???
we only own up to season 5 n dvds cause the damn shops dont sell the others yet so the parts i say are only up to there....

a few parts that made me cry were:

the part on season 5 where the ingalls, the garveys and the olesons move back to walnut grove and where charles and jonathan first ride into the town just them and theres nothing there..

another part is the episode where mary loses her sight...
the parts that really make me sad are where laura overhears mary and charles talking near the creek thing and the sadder part is where everyone but marys under the loft and mary starts screaming as she wakes cause she's blind.. its really sad when charles runs up to her...

oh and when mary was beginning to go blind and she had to get the latern closer to her book to read....!!!! then charles yelled at laura to get the broom thing.... oh my god i love that part its so sad....

umm i cant really think just yet of other parts maybe you can help...

another sad thing all up about little house is that gorgeous michael landon died so young...

...wow, anytime Charles would choke up sad, man that would choke me up... period. several episodes I think of, but I think Mary's baby perishing in the fire was a big one... which led to part 2 I believe, when Albert was atop a hill in the midst of running away... and poor Charles, already going through enough, at the bottom of that hill -- man, when they met each other and connected, that was a real sad (or happy, not sure) LHOTP moment.



...I think another were the episodes with Charles father (bunny and that fence thing or when the father wanted to die)

...I also think when Walnut Grove became dead... that was sad too...

...I also remember the killer virus episode when people were dying (I think there were 2 of them)...

...many sad moments I could remember with Joe Cagan (the scene in the court when Larraby was on trial comes to mind)

...or I remember a couple that crashed in their wagon, which led to Charles adopting their children

...the blind school fire was definately tops though



Gosh, come to think of it, there were a plenty. It's still my all-time fav show!! Here's to LHOTP!

agreed about Michael Landon, I also loved Highway to Heaven! Another great show....Landon and French together!

This was the cheesiest programme out, as was most of the things Michael Landon was in. I was not a fan of it, sorry.
