In the last episode of Lost, why is Jack not reunited with his ex-wife at all? She seemed so important to him. And why was Sahid reunited with Shannon instead of Nadia? Nadia was the love of his life!

If you haven't watched lost from the beginning it might not make sense. Anyway Sayid use to love Nadia in the real life but she died. What is the point. In the side flashes the people are suppose to remember their "real" lives. When they did they realised that the life they are living in now (the side flashes) is not real. Sayid actually loves shannon but she died and they got re united. The ex-wife of jack is not important in lost. She could have totally been cut out. Jack moved on. He knows that his ex wife doesn't love him anymore so he stopped loving her as well. You can't love someone forever who you know has moved on from you. Jack loves Kate instead.

Neither Jacks ex-wife or Nadia were on the Island. The middleground was for the Islanders to meet up.

As people stated his wife sarah i think? left him for another man & he was in a troubled marrige with her, she wasn't his true love you could say & that he ultimately felt more connected with kate.
As Christian Shepherd said ''these times you spent with the people in that church were the most important of your life'' Kate was a motive many times for Jack.
As for Sayid somebody expressed reason that Sayid was always caught in a downward spiral with Nadia that he was always haunted by his mistakes in life with her that with Shannon he was able to let-go & start afresh.
As for the likes of Walt etc not being there its again cos they got off the island & presumably lived with more important people in their life than the likes of Locke & Jack.
A question that bothered some was that presumably Kate lived a full life & would have met a man in her life similarly with Sawyer, so why were their ''partners'' people who were on the island an odd 40 years before Sawyers/kates death, again it can be answered by referring to fate (major theme on the show) & my answer up there, it also explains why the likes of Richard & Miles weren't present in the church & why Ben didn't want to pass yet presumably he would pass with Alex etc

How is he suppose to reunite with her when he is lost?
Last time I seen it sum dude was waving around a stick of dynamite and blew himself up.
I was lost the whole time. None of it make sense. Maybe that is the point of the show?

Becuase Sarah (Jacks ex-wife) left Jack for another man, why would they re-unite for?
Jack was supposed to be with Kate, and that's why they were together in the purgatory/sideways/whatever. :D
And anyways, the people who were in the church were important to Jack on the island + Penny, Sarah wasn't on the island.

She left him and got pregnant by another guy. He is fond of Juliet, they made up a son together for him to get over his father issues by being a good father and I feel personally so she could feel motherhood after seeing so many expecting mothers and unborn babies die, and she never met her nephew and it was implied in Season 5 she was pregnant with Sawyer child but she died.
