Something that I picked up in the Lost episode "Sundown"?

Okay, so did anyone notice that Dogen told Sayid not to let Flocke talk to him, and yet, when Sayid is out in the jungle, he lets Flocke say, "Hello Sayid", before he stabs him? Dogen said that it would be too late if he was aloud to speak to him, infering that he could kill him unless he talks...

BTW, what do you think the ending to Lost's season finale will be? Will the writers finish the series with style, or will they make me cry from the time wasted?

Yes, but Sayid didn't know what he was dealing with, so I guess hed thought he'd test what would happen after they talked. Sayid had no reason to trust Dogen, who tried to get Jack to kill him.

It better have a good ending!

Yeah, I did catch that with Sayid and thought the same thing. As for the ending, I think it will be satisfyingly huge, but definitely will end in a question leaving you pondering on the matter.

I don't think Flocke couldn't die because he said something to Sayid, but because Sayid wouldn't WANT to kill him after Flocke convinced him. So, I don't think that fact that he said those first few words affected it.
