Im a fan of the first doctor (hartnell) i think hes very intelligent, witty, funny, intimidating sometimes and is how i imagine the doctor to be old, now i have 16 of his stories on dvd and have been watching them all over the last few months, i have

An Unearthly Child
The Daleks
Edge Of Destruction
Keys Of Marinus
The Aztecs
The Sensorites
The Reign Of Terror
Planet Of Giants
The Dalek Invasion Of Earth
The Rescue
The Romans
The Space Museum
The Chase
The Time Meddler

The War Machines

im missing The Web Planet and The Ark tho i have ordered them and even tho i have several Patrick Troughtons, several Jon Pertwees and lots of Tom Bakers, several Peter Davisons, a couple of Sylvestor Mccoy and The Paul Mcgann movie, im going to miss William Hartnell theres only Tom Baker i prefer to him, so should i rewatch them again? cos i like him more now then when i first started watching, also i really like Barbara Wright

You just asked a question which involved the words "watch", "Doctor Who DVDs", and "again."

The answer is "Very yes."

Also, you are incredibly lucky to own all those DVDs! I've been looking for Jon Pertwee and Paul McGann everywhere and you just cannot find them.

When it comes to a show you love, as in the show all others are measured against- then going with how you feel as you pop the DVD in to watch it, is the best way. Rewatching favourites is about revisiting what you loved about them, and if it feels more like a Hartnell day to you, then go with it. Have the Baker ones on stand by though, if halfway through this marathon of Dr Who you decide to switch over to a different incarnation; cause each Doctor has its merits and drawbacks from the last.

If one character suddenly grates you even though it hasn't before- no worries, try another episode/ or incarnation/ or Companion based episode.

I'm actually quite impressed with you- most Whovians I know are New over Classic (I am including myself in this TV snobbery, if you will. The classic stuff is woefully overlooked though. I quite enjoyed Peter Davidson though, and not for the youth of the portrayal either. I mean Tom Baker was the Doctor in a 'frenzied' way I'd never seen before, or since, and Hartnell was 'the man' (I am not being sarcastic)- but with Davison, he was charismatic enough so that the really heavy stuff held a great weight when he acted it.

Sorry, that went a bit off topic. Refer to part one for my original answer to your question, and enjoy.

P.S Breaking out the comfort food as well always adds that little something extra to a tv marathon.

Of course you should!

And you're so lucky you own all those. I've been trying to collect Classic Who DVDs for a while, but they're expensive, hard to find, and out of order. Sigh.

observe to ladies everywhere, and that i'm no longer attempting to be a dick approximately this because of the fact i know it extremely is a mild project, yet whilst a guy gets a bare image from a woman and he's no longer relationship her. he will tutor all his boys. while you're relationship it extremely is slightly greater very own and the associates won't see the image till you destroy up in case you do. Sorry to be so blunt and doubtlessly impolite approximately it even nevertheless it would no longer likely be a believe subject. each guy does it and if it is the only subject he's each achieved to betray your believe issues may be plenty worse.
