Sherlock (BBC) - 2 Strangers, Sherlock and John work together and slowly form unbreakable friendship despite Sherlock's eccentric behaviour.
Suits - A quick witted teen, Mike, gets picked to be a lawyer's, whose name is Harvey, associate and they slowly form a very strong brotherly bond.
White Collar - A conman, Neal Caffrey, forms a deal with FBI Agent Peter Burke, and works as his consultant. They form a strange friendship, although it is still very shaky. (So called "enemies" or "Opposites" working together)
Merlin (BBC) - A very strong bond forms between the manservant, Merlin, and Prince Arthur as Merlin saves his life countless times.
I especially liked White Collar, Sherlock and Suits. No zombie, school life tv shows, thanks, but more action oriented. It's even better if romance is not the main focus too, but more of the stuff the "partners" do together.
I also like Psych, but not so much, cus the friendship is already established, and I didn't get to see the progression.
